Welcome to our Moveable Feast on Augmented Reality in Week 6!  This week, we hope you enjoy working through our modules and learning all about AR.  For some of you AR might be new and for some of you this might be a refresher experience, either way we hope you have fun. Tyler

Tyler is a grade 1, 2 teacher in Surrey and lives in Burnaby, BC.  He was born and raised on Vancouver Island where he attended VIU and received a BA in History and BA in Education. Tyler loves technology, Star Trek, Curling, and spending times with his nieces and nephew on the island. This is Tyler’s ninth class in the MET program and will graduate from the program in August 2020.

Linda

Linda is currently a Masters of Engineering student at UBC majoring in Electrical Engineering. She has tutored students throughout her academic experience and developed an interest in education technology. Her first experience with AR/VR was through the Google Cardboard.  Linda is very excited to combine her interests in technology and education through exploring the potential of AR applications in education.

Juliano

Juliano is a grade 6/7 elementary school teacher in the Burnaby School District. He is the "technology lead" at his school and likes to promote a wide variety of mobile technology programs for his staff to use to enhance student learning. When he isn't teaching, he likes to golf, play video games, and travel.

Michael

Michael is a grade 6 teacher in Red Deer, AB. His wife teaches at the same school as him and both his children also attend the same school. Although originally from Gold River, BC, he has had stops in Hinton and Fox Creek, AB. Michael has been interested in technology since he got NES several years ago. During his spare time, he still enjoys playing video games, as well as traveling and cooking. Michael is in his 8th MET course and intends to graduate in the next year.

Kylie 

Kylie is a Grade 4, 5 teacher in Victoria, BC. Throughout the MET program she has developed a passion for integrating technology into the classroom.  She loves seeing her students enjoy learning with technology just as much as she does.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing squash,  running, DIY projects around the house, cooking, and hanging with friends and family.  Kylie is looking forward to graduating from the MET program in August 2020.
